Shimla, June 23: Passengers across Himachal Pradesh may face travel difficulties as employees of the Himachal Road Transport Corporation (HRTC) have warned of a statewide bus strike over their pending demands.
Employee unions say several issues, including unpaid dues, allowances, and other benefits, have not been resolved despite repeated requests. Workers have been holding protests at different HRTC depots and are demanding immediate action from the state government.
Union leaders have stated that if their demands are not met soon, bus services across the state could be affected. A strike would impact thousands of daily commuters, students, office workers, and residents who depend on HRTC buses for transportation.
